Product Description

Ramming mix refers to unshaped refractory material which is constructed by ramming (manual or mechanical) method and hardened under heating action higher than normal temperature. It is a mixture of fire-resistant aggregate, powder, binder, admixture, water or other liquid with certain grading. According to material classification, there are high aluminum, clay, magnesium, dolomite, zirconium and silicon carbide carbon refractory ramming materials.

It is made of silicon carbide, graphite and electric calcined anthracite as raw materials, mixed with a variety of superfine powder additives, and electric melting cement or composite resin as binder. It is used to fill gaps between furnace cooling equipment and masonry or filling material for masonry leveling layer. The material has good chemical stability, erosion resistance, wear resistance, peeling resistance, heat shock resistance, and is widely used in metallurgy, building materials, non-ferrous metal smelting, chemical industry, machinery and other manufacturing industries!

Effect of carbon ramming mix:

According to different furnace types and different material design requirements, carbon ramming mix are mainly used for gap between bottom carbon brick and bottom sealing plate of furnace and between hearth carbon brick and cooling wall, as well as the leveling above the center line of bottom water cooling pipe and the filling of cooling wall. All parts require that carbon ramming materials after it have certain strength and density, filling every corner And a very small gap, to meet the requirements of no leakage of molten iron and gas, and thermal conductivity of carbon ramming material and performance of hot carbon brick and cooling stave of the furnace must be basically consistent, so as not to affect life of furnace, so as to maintain normal production of the furnace.
