Furnace Arc Burner is a special equipment which uses electric arc to burn out iron port of submerged arc reduction furnace for ferroalloy production, also known as arc opener. It is composed of furnace body, tilting device, electrode lifting mechanism and furnace body. The equipment uses the high temperature of the arc generated by the electrode to heat and melt the charge. It is usually used when it is difficult to open the hole manually or as a backup facility of the hole opening and plugging machine.
